THE PROCESS
How Engagement Works
Engagement proceeds in defined stages. It is structured, time-bound, and executive-level.
Engagement may be undertaken at an individual or team level, depending on context.
There is no open-ended coaching commitment.
Stage 1 — Decision Weight Diagnostic (Individual or Team)
Every engagement begins with the Decision Weight Diagnostic.
For individuals, the focus is on personal traction patterns across recent executive discussions.
For teams, the focus extends to collective reasoning structure, role clarity, and how the function’s recommendations are interpreted at senior level.
Outcome: A written diagnostic summary with defined adjustment priorities.
Stage 2 — Structural Alignment Work (If Warranted)
Where misalignment is material, follow-on work focuses on reducing structural distortion in executive settings.
This may include:
• Clarifying how trade-offs are surfaced before challenge
• Making constraint balance more visible
• Strengthening how recommendations are framed under uncertainty
• Increasing stability of decision weight across forums
This work focuses on structural alignment of reasoning and decision weight.
Stage 3 — C-Suite Decision Weight Review (Organisational Level)
For organisations seeking broader clarity, the framework can be applied at C-suite level to examine how decision weight is allocated across advisory and operational functions.
This is a distinct engagement and is undertaken selectively.
Next Step
Clarify where misalignment exists and whether the Diagnostic is appropriate — start with an Initial Consultation.
This conversation determines whether the Diagnostic is appropriate and whether the engagement is individual, team-based, or organisational.
